Meet the Authors

 Linda Algozzini is an international presenter, consultant, professional development designer/trainer, and award-winning educator. Linda has served in management roles for business and education leading departments and teams through program and organizational redesign. Linda is co-owner of Facilitators of Change Consulting, LLC. 

Dr. Shannon Voyles is an educator, author, and researcher. She has presented and published in national and international arenas. Her work has focused on metacognition, online education, perceptions, learning styles, group coaching and mentoring, self-regulated learning, and communities of practice. She is experienced with consulting, developing courses, and mentoring faculty and peers.

Valencia Gabay is an educator, author and coach. She has served as an effective leader and student affairs practitioner in higher education for the past 20 years. Valencia has presented and published works on communities of practice, critical consciousness, and supporting inclusion in the workplace. She is passionate about the value of change and its influence on leadership, professional and personal wellbeing.  

Kimberly Bessolo is an educator, communicator and optimist. Kim has worn a number of hats in her professional life (teacher, researcher, speech writer), but finds greatest satisfaction nurturing others to help them achieve their best.  A firm believer that we are all capable of great heights, Kim understands that support and encouragement are valuable tools in assisting others to reach goals. 

Dr. Grady Batchelor is a speaker, coach, consultant, and award-winning educator. Grady is dean of the School of Continuing & Professional Studies at APUS. Grady is also president of Grady Batchelor & Associates, Inc. Grady is a Professional Certified Coach, Board Certified Coach, Certified Management Consultant, and Certified Manager.
